SELF-CARE THROUGH SENTS.

Hello, I'm Masaru Ishizaka, a fragrance producer.

Today I would like to share with you the self-care routine through scent that is part of my lifestyle.

My morning routine involves flipping the sticks in my fragrance diffusers around the house and enjoying some matcha tea, which is a great way to start my day.

I have a different diffuser with a different scent in each room, and when I wake up in the morning I walk around the house flipping the sticks over so that each room is filled with the fresh, sweet, fruity scent.

This not only fills the room with a pleasant aroma, but also stimulates the senses in a pleasant way.

I feel that the sense of smell is a barometer of health, and it is important to continue to stimulate it in a pleasant way on a daily basis.
Just as you move your body on a daily basis, stimulating your sense of smell moderately on a daily basis will lead to good physical and mental health.

For example, our consciousness and our sense of smell are very closely related, as evidenced by the fact that our sense of smell becomes dull the day after drinking too much alcohol.

I also sometimes play a scent-matching game I invented called "Scent Memory" with my family. It's hard to remember scents you can't see, so I find that this is not only a fun game, but also stimulates the brain.

In fact, training your sense of smell is thought to help prevent Alzheimer's, and more recently, loss of smell has been reported as one of the many symptoms of COVID-19.

The human body is a strange thing, and it is thought that parts of the body that are regularly trained are less likely to break down.

So, how much health could be gained from training your sense of smell on a daily basis? It's very interesting.

What do you think? Just by looking at it this way, doesn't it seem like the probability of your health being influenced by your sense of smell is very effective?

With that in mind, I highly recommend creating a new self-care routine using scents.
