Zen has its roots in Buddhism and was widely used as a mental control method by samurai and generals during the Warring States period.
Over the past few decades, the idea of "ZEN" has been adopted by elites in various industries around the world as a method of mental stability under the name of mindfulness.
The Zen way of thinking in English is "Nothing is here, look yourself."
It can also be expressed as:
this is,
These words get to the essence of Zen, which is that worldly things such as economic success, status, and honor are irrelevant, and that it is about continuing to speak to your inner self.
And if I were to add one phrase here,
"A part of nature"
Being at one with nature
This is what I think of as Zen.
Meditation is the process of incorporating Zen thinking into your life.
At first, when you meditate, you just close your eyes and sit cross-legged without understanding what it means,
Once it becomes a habit, you'll know how to do it.
Just close your eyes and let yourself be in silence,
Trying not to think about the things you usually think about too much, trying to cut off thoughts,
You can experience the role of this time.
I incorporate meditation into my life,
I strongly feel that in a meditative state, it is very important to have regular breathing.
However, if you focus too much on regulating your breathing, it may be difficult to enter a meditative state.
From my experience, I think it’s important to focus your attention on one thing.
Having something like a hook can help you enter a deep meditative state.
I think the smoothest way to do this is to turn this hook into a fragrance.
It is easier to immerse yourself in meditation when the space is filled with a pleasant, unobtrusive scent.
A pleasant scent that is not too overpowering is also important in improving quality of life.
Finding a scent that relaxes you doesn't have to be difficult.
It is strongly connected to the background, so we will explore that.
For example, my first perfume was a citrus floral scent called Neroli that I got from my brother.
Citrus scents are what relax me.
This time I wrote about Zen, meditation, breathing, and scent.
Why not take a look at your life and try incorporating these ideas into your life?
