What are unisex perfumes that couples can use?

Unisex perfumes are now popular, and there is a tendency in Japan to prefer neutral scents. In this article, we will talk about the characteristics of scents that are popular in Japan and how to choose a unisex perfume.

This time it's unisex perfume.

In recent years, more and more people in Japan have started using perfume.

We are also starting to hear phrases like "couple fragrance" and "unisex fragrance."

But did you know that in Japan, masculine or overly manly perfumes don't sell very well for men, and that more androgynous, unisex perfumes are preferred?

On the other hand, when it comes to fragrances aimed at women, for example, scents that are overly sweet tend not to be well-liked, and there is a strong preference for relatively clear, easy-to-use scents.

For example, strong woody scents tend to give off a masculine impression. Sweet, gourmand scents tend to give off a feminine impression. Conversely, scents that exclude these two, such as fruity florals and citrus florals, tend to be strong unisex scents.

So when looking for a unisex fragrance, I think it's best to look for one that has a citrus-fruity base that fades into floral notes.

When compared to other countries, the lack of gender-based scent in Japan seems to be a characteristic of Japan's national culture.

I hope this will be helpful when choosing a perfume.
